Left Behind is an ongoing project started in 2020 in the wake of the pandemic that looks to reflect on the fragility of our all to human reality. Reflecting on the longevity of our society, the project looks to depict the physicality of our world in a state of decay. Although this is the natural order of things (all will fade with time) the aim of the images looks to show how that process plays out in real time when we choose to look the process in the eye. Therefore the images speak toward a greater choice: work toward a brighter future, or the decay we see documented continues far into our future, where our society is ultimately left behind in time.
